Fred Chumo

Of - Counsel

Fred Chumo is a seasoned commercial lawyer with over thirteen (13) years of legal proficiency in Corporate, Commercial & Banking Law. He has practiced as an in- house lawyer in over six financial institutions both locally and internationally where he gained significant experience in Corporate Governance, Regulatory Compliance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Employment matters, Capital Markets and Real Estate & Conveyancing and Aviation. He is also deeply experienced in international trade law, Dispute Resolution, Technology, and Intellectual Property.

Fred is a problem-solver able to conceptualize solutions relevant to diverse commercial needs with strong analytical and team leadership skills. It is for these reasons that he has been involved in some pivotal transactions over the years such as private placements, rights issues, debt restructuring for listed firms, issuance of corporate bonds and debt to equity conversions, among others.

Fred is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Notary Public, a Certified Secretary, an Arbitrator, and a Governance Expert. He is an LL. B alumnus of Moi University, holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Daystar University and Master of Laws in International Commercial Law and Practice from the prestigious University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom.

Caroline Mugo


Caroline Mugo is an Advocate of Five (5) years practice with vast experience in the sectors of banking and perfecting of securities. She has handled numerous real estate transactions and has assisted various clients in negotiating and closing deals. In addition, Caroline has a wealth of experience in advising and handling matters with respect to succession and estate planning, registration and restructuring of companies and handling the registration and protection of Intellectual Property.

Caroline has also been involved in conducting and compiling high-level due diligence reports of companies seeking financing or capitalization. The due diligence in these engagements usually entail the reviewing and carrying out comprehensive audits over the affairs of the companies which include but was not limited to the companies’ financial statements, tax obligations, organizational structures and their assets and liabilities.

Caroline endeavors to ensure that all clients’ matters are solved in the quickest time possible with the best outcome for the clients.

In her free time Caroline is an avid reader who enjoys reading law journals and acquiring knowledge and expertise in other novel areas of the law fintech, blockchain, environmental and entertainment law.

She attended the Catholic of University of Eastern Africa and thereafter the Kenya School of Law and was admitted to the bar in 2017.

Sheila Chumo


Sheila Chumo is an astute lawyer with over five (5) years of legal proficiency in Litigation and Dispute Resolution specializing in Commercial Litigation, Employment Disputes, Succession, Family Law matters (Divorce, Custody, & Maintenance), & Debt Recovery.

Sheila has represented both corporate and individual clients at various courts including the High Court, Court of Appeal and various Tribunals constituted under different statutes.

Sheila is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and an alumnus of Kabarak University and the Kenya School of Law. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the East Africa Law Society.

Bridget Kithinji

Of - Counsel

Bridget Kithinji is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over five years experience in practice. An energetic advocate, she is highly recommended for her client- centric problem solving skills and is a key resource in matters Corporate Governance, Legal Compliance Audits, Real Estate transactions, Employment disputes, Immigration laws, general financial transactions, Company Incorporation and Company Secretarial work having worked at the Office of the Attorney General and Department of Justice in her earlier years of practice. She also plays an advisory role to clients on regulatory compliance and public policy.

In addition, she is an Internationally certified professional mediator, a seasoned Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) specialist, with experience in the mediation of two- party and multi-party disputes in numerous contexts, including commercial, employment, corporate governance, workplace, family law disputes and breach of contract. She is a member of the International Mediation Institute and an accredited court annexed mediator.

Bridget is also a member of the Law Society of Kenya, The East Africa Law Society and the Commonwealth Lawyers Association. She is an alumnus of Kenyatta University and holds a post graduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law.
